Please when you have this problem install qdbus-qt5 on the phone and run qdbus com.ubuntu.connectivity1 /com/ubuntu/connectivity1/NetworkingStatus com.ubuntu.connectivity1.NetworkingStatus.Status also on the phone (via adb shell or phablet-shell) and write here the output of it.
