I updated from 12.04 to 14.04. After installation, I wanted to use the partner repository and noticed, it was still pointing to natty in /etc/sources.list/ (this was the first installed release on the computer, as there is also the entry to the deb cdrom: .. pointing to natty in the first line).
When un/checking the Partner distribution channel, in sources.list the entry gets commented/uncommented but always pointing to natty. I had to manually change sources.list, now it points to trusty and gets commented/uncommented as trustry when clicking/unclicking in software center.
