I just installed Ubuntu 14.04, instead of 13.10 (new install, not an upgrade): I confirm this bug reappeared. When you are used to the CTRL key to copy, paste, CTRL+C, etc, it is quite annoying. How can one apply this 2008 patch to fix it on his system?
