This year will be the 20th anniversary of Software Freedom Day. However, the current board that was running events to promote Free and Libre software and the Creative Commons media is stepping down. Volunteers from the SFD mailing are stepping up to fill the void, but they could use your help. If anyone's interested in helping to create a local or virtual Software Freedom Day event, helping to promote Software Freedom Day in general or in helping by joining the reorganization effort, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. If you have a class where you teach FLOSS related content, having or attending a local Software Freedom Day event can be a great way to promote and share FLOSS resources.
