Hi Folks,

The Science Education for New Civic Engagements and Responsibilities
(SENCER) project is hosting their annual meeting July 30 – August 2nd
(http://sencer.net/virtual-ssi-2020-program/). Our very own Clif
Kussmaul will be presenting a POGIL session Saturday at 1:00 PM and an
HFOSS session Saturday at 2:30 PM. SENCER is an organization that uses
real world problems with civic consequence to promote STEM learning.
“SENCER courses and programs strengthen student learning and interest in
science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by connecting
course topics to issues of critical local, national, and global
importance.” Registration is only $50!
