Dear colleagues, It is my great pleasure to share our recent paper that studied the students' perceptions of being exposed to OSS (ICSE SEET 2019). We interview 21 students that took courses that use OSS as part of the course evaluations. We also did some mining repository stuff to understand what students did when contributing to OSS.
