Hello everyone,

tl;dr

We are eagerly seeking nominations for the 2018 Women in Open Source Award
and, as you may remember, there's an Academic category (=women who are enrolled
full-time, and earning 12 or more credit hours, in college or university,
for any degree level). Non-students (like instructors) are, of
course, eligible for the Women in Open Source Community Award.

Nominations will be open through October 30. *More info & nomination

More detail:

Red Hat created this award four years ago with the hopes of shining a light
on the contributions women make to open source. Each year brings more
talented nominees, finalists, and winners to the forefront. These women are
role models in the community, encouraging the next generation to join the
movement, and giving us many reasons to celebrate.

Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Poland,
