Just a quick reply (and, possibly, all that's needed): this thread
helped me better understand how to use the tools. My complaints
weren't so much about the tools (eg. "Down with wikis!") so much as I
was confused how best to interact with the content.

One's own cultural heritage is sometimes hard to beat down with a
stick. I'll look for a bigger stick.
