After starting to read the Teaching Open Source textbook, I decided to start my own effort on the TOS wiki: http://teachingopensource.org/index.php/How_to_start_contributing_to_or_using_Open_Source_Software I explain hot it differs from the previous efforts. My text is CC-by as far as I'm concerned, but I guess other people can contribute under CC-by-sa (or use text under that.).
