settings dialog->advanced->ScintillaDirect2D set the value to false. then check if that solves your problem. If it does, you have to update your graphics driver to a newer version.
Also you can enable debug messages in settings dialog->advanced->DebugOutputString (set to true), and then you can view the debug messages with the dbgview tool from sysinternals (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/debugview) Also, if you get a crash dialog, send the crash report. After sending it you're browser is opened with an url of your report.
