When merging a a range of revisions you have to choose the "URL to merge from". You can use the history (drop down combo box) or your can use the repository browser (toolbutton '...'). What I'm missing the an option to choose the URL from the Revision Graph.
Use case: Most of my merging is done within the same repository: - There is syncing with the trunk were my working copy is in a feature branch. - There is merging back (re-integration) of a feature branch into the trunk. So showing the current working copy in the revision graph could be a good starting point to look for the URL to merge from. Then I want to select the branch where I want to merge from. Plus: - you can see, if you forgot to update your W/C before merging - you can see, if you have local modifications - you could even see, which parts of a branch were already merged into a working copy, if the merge info would be taken into consideration. - If you do a cherry pick you could even choose the revisions that you want to pick. All this could be plus, if you have _a lot_ of feature branches open an you want to pick the right one. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TortoiseSVN" group.
