I would like to (sort-of) revive this thread. While I am not sure exactly 
what the OP was asking to search, it would be quite helpful to be able to 
do even a text search of the filenames listed in the current view. Some of 
our repos have a lot of files in any given directory and often you are 
trying to find one based on a part of its name. This is trivial to do if I 
view the repo in a web browser and just find on the page. If this is an 
easy add, it would be a nice tool to have to stay in same tortoise 
"environment" so to speak.
My $0.02 -- maybe my use case is fringe ? Any others want to see this?
