In my example the two URLs indeed map to exactly the same repo on the server side. So there would need to be a check if the repo from URL1 is the same as the one from URL2 (I don't know if such a check is even possible).
Could you provide me with a step-by-step manual (for Windows) on to achieve the effect you described via DNS? Are the DNS settings done within the software limits of TortoiseSVN (as I couldn't find DNS settings within the TortoiseSVN GUI, only Network->Proxy) or do I need to change something like my network adapter settings / windows hosts file, which I don't want to modify (both).
