Hello Community,

first of all I am happy to have found this Mailinglist.

My Scenario: Theres a Microserver which I have built from scratch with
proxmox/debian and an openmediavault NAS System on it. Its successfully
integrated in my private Intranet in the same subnet as my Win10 Client as a
workstation where I have access via FTP on the server (smb) also.

On Windows I have PHPStorm Running as an Editor for Web-Developement. However,
I´m accessing my Web-Projects via a FQDN on the local machine with a Browser.

So its possible to see the changes I made in my Developement Enviroment
instantly when I upload the changes file by file to the FTP source root folder
on the Server. Of course its just running locally inside the Intranet.

Now how do I add SVN to it?
Can I do it directly via PHPStorm?
Do I have to setup an SVN Server on the Linux System (Server)?

The goal is to have the working copy on the server running as an untouched
release (Version ...). And parallel editing, testing and developing on a branch
which I can merge with the working copy of course.

Theres a local repository with a remote master on github on the client.

Anyone can help?

Greetz.
