Hi Long time user (thanks team!) first time poster. Given the shortage of icon overlays in windows explorer, and some software using arguably dirty tricks to prioritise their own display needs (_how_ many leading spaces??), how about:
If google-drive or Onedrive or Dropbox are installed, just use their icons? This does have an install / maintenance dependency, but losing the icons is a pain. I for one don't care much exactly how the icons look, just the basic status. I had a look through the changelist / support, and I couldn't see this suggested before, so apologies if it's already been dealt with.
