Hello Everyone,

I am a beginner at using SVN,i have a few questions and need some guidance.

I have a team of 5 members and have created an archive in on a shared
computer.
The path to that is "file:///shareserv/archive"

At the moment all my other members are able to access the contents by
typing the above link in a repo-browser.
So it is possible that they can accidentally modify the data present in it.

Is there any way of password protecting the archive so that it cannot be
accessed directly.I mean when they enter the address in the rep-browser,it
should ask for a user name and password.

I read the svn manual present and it says to use the svn:/// protocol, but i
am not sure on how to proceed further?Any ideans

Thanks,
Arun
