Hi,

I am a complete newbie with TortoiseSVN but I have a problem I would seek an
answer to.
If I have a network drive and due to the slowness of the checkout process over
the network I would like to do the checkout on the server side. On the other
hand when I have the files checked out I would like to use my local machine to
update/commit changes. So my question is if this is even possible? How can I
get my local machines TortoiseSVN to understand that the files were in fact
checked out on the server side but I would like to commit changes from my local
pc? Do we need some kind of a "relayer" for this on the server side and set up
the local TortoiseSVN so that it calls the "realyer" to update/commit on the
server?
Hopefully the question itself is even understandable...
Many thanks!
