Hi,
I installed the tarball Nio gave me and installed network-manager-gnome
for nm-applet (as well as all the PPAs and ToriOS apps...)
And... Network Manager is still 'not running'
So..............................................................................................................................
this is an issue...
bleh.
too tired to think about why this isn't working correctly, or what else
needs to be done...

We need to talk to someone who knows a lot about Ubuntu, and when
network manager is started in the normal Ubuntus, and what we need to do.

@Ali, since you are Ubuntu can you find someone who knows about the
boot/start-up process and when network manager starts, and what starts it?

The good news is, that my normal method of making the OS/ISO is not
broken (hurray), but it is missing something

Thanks Nio for the tar, and everyone for testing :) Let me know if you
figure out network manager!
