Hi Israel, I think it is possible, that someone who is good at setting up networks with command line tools can help you create a simple dialog list in zenity. But I don't know the details, maybe you should ask someone with experience from running linux servers. For me it is OK, that a working network applet costs some MB (of used RAM and ISO file size), because it adds so much user friendliness.
