Hi again, In trying to find out more about the Alternate installer I found a package called simple-cdd https://wiki.debian.org/Simple-CDD/Howto http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/ubuntu/utopic/simple-cdd/utopic/view/head:/README
I don't fully grasp what this will do, but if I understand it, this may be something we can use to automatically build the ISO (much like we have been doing). I thought you guys might be interested in checking this out. I am still chasing down what we need for the alternate install. This will be quite a learning task. There seems to be many parts that go into this :) Anyhow, I will look into all this stuff, and continue working on all the rest of this stuff. This has been a wonderful learning experience. I may try to make a chroot installer just to learn more about the chroot. Solely so I can learn more about how this operating system works, and is built. But, then again, I may not :) because we need to focus on the current OS. On 09/22/2014 02:31 PM, Jörn Schönyan wrote: > Am Montag, 22.
