I have successfully gotten udiskie to work in 12.04 and made a guide here:
https://github.com/coldfix/udiskie/wiki/Ubuntu-Debian-installation-guide Now I have to make sure I can get sound working, so the user can simply customize their computer, rather than search for solutions. I will set up the system to already have the polkit rules so the user can use whatever program they like. It also works with pcmanfm, so I am sure it works with the heavier ones. So I can get rid of usbmount and use udiskie instead on the installed system. It is pretty easy to enable/disable It might be worth someone like Paul taking a look at the code to see if it can be improved any. But this a major step closer to allowing the user the ability to do most things out of the box without hassling with installing dependencies and editing policykit files :) I'll have to do some testing to find out what kind of memory this is using, though it should be much slimmer than the other DE. -- Regards -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~torios Post to : torios@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~torios More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
