I finally found the missing dependency (ergh... so simple). It wouldn't build at first, because I used the wrong 'Section' in the control file... bleh. I wish that field wasn't SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO important to the ppa uploading farm. anyhow... misc is the section. Not miscellaneous... just misc :D So...
