Hi Jack, I see. It seems like Outlook is converting the file. It has no extension, and Outlook 'tries to be smart and think for you'. I hope and think downloading a file with SeaMonkey from a website works without problems. You can try with the following file
http://phillw.net/isos/linux-tools/torios/README.txt and check that the size and md5sum is correct $ wc -c README.txt 230 README.txt $ md5sum README.txt 366a2004a25867715983da3bd19d1238 README.txt or if there are extra carriage return characters (ascii 13).
