Hi Israel, I made a fix for nano, alias work-around. I saw that the installed nano was identically correct as well as its running condition file. I could not find the problem, but this fix will re-install it the first time it is called in the live session, and it will work after that. I suggest that you use my 'chroot2_nano-fix.bash' as 'chroot2.bash'.
I uploaded it to Phill's server at http://phillw.net/isos/linux-tools/torios/2015-05/ -rw-rw-r--. 1 nio nio 70 7 maj 17.17 nano-fix.sh -rwxr-xr-x. 1 nio nio 4688 7 maj 17.42 chroot2_nano-fix.bash -rw-rw-r--. 1 nio nio 791 7 maj 17.49 md5sums.txt.asc The crucial fix is simple (nano-fix.sh) but it is accompanied by a comment line and your attempts to fix it are removed in chroot2.bash. echo 'apt-get --reinstall install nano -y;/bin/nano $*'>/usr/bin/nano I made an iso file and tested that it really works when booted from the iso file. Of course, if/when we can install nano in chroot, this fix will no longer be needed.
