Hi everyone, I have been rethinking the way themes are handled by the settings manager. I want to implement a standard theme directory for users to add themes to, and the program will see them.
I am not going to make any major changes like this for the current version. I want to simply get this one stable and fully working. But, I see the limitations of this version. We can only hardcode new themes in, and the user cannot simply save a file to a normal theme directory to find. So, does anyone have a proposal for a 'normal theme directory' I was thinking something like: ~/.jwm/themes/ and maybe make a system wide version /usr/share/themes/jwm/ This way we can eventually support community themes in a package This is my mockup for the future version. Basically 'Browser Line *' would be a dynamically generated list of themes. Clicking on the first item would change the 'preview items' Any thoughts about this? -- Regards -Israel ToriOS Team
