Hi Roger, I understand what you are saying, and I just double checked:With Win7 Tor Browser plays everything without Shockwave (Adobe Flash Player). With Xubuntu 15.04 Tor Browser plays only some. (e. g. on www.zdf.de it does, on www.ard.de not, .... If it can't play, in most cases it says that it needs a flash plugin.
