The Project Explorer is part of Eclipse, and getting something into there may be possible through Eclipse extension points, but would be a lot of fiddling. I am afraid it won't make it to the top of our current priorities given that a work-around exists that isn't too bad IMHO.

I was thinking about this earlier.  Would it be possible to add a "Copy Base URI" option to the right-click menu in the Project Explorer tab or is that menu part of Eclipse?  I know, it's not really much different than right-clicking and opening the file in the text editor, other than it might avoid setting the default editor for the selected TB file to the text editor.  Eclipse seems to remember what editor I last used for a given file.  Just a thought.  Obviously not worth much effort :)

I agree and usually would jump on an opportunity to do a quick
fix. The complication here is that this is not "our"
component, but part of the Eclipse environment. Adding
something like a keyboard short-cut would be tricky or even
impossible. I am afraid the cheapest way to get the base URI
is to right-click and open the file as text, then copy the
base URI from the first row.

I would like to second the motion to enable a quick way to
copy a base URI.  I also frequently open a graph in a text

        method would be much appreciated.

            Hi folks

When using top braid composer does anyone have any tips
for easily copying the base uri of a turtle file for
            pasting into another file.

e.g. if I want to the add the uri of a file as an imports
            uri to in another file.

it's always been a pain that you can see the base uri of
a file in the explorer panel but you can't just select
            that text and copy it......

currently I'm only aware of the method of opening the
file that I want to import - generally I open it in the
text editor as it's quickest. Then I copy the uri from
            the text file.

This works fine, but I'm just looking for a quicker way :)

e.g. like in windows when you can hold shift and right
            click to copy the path.

            Cheers all
