Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone - I wound up ordering a 28'
Jackite telescoping mast, on the theory that I can nest the very thin
top section or two to make it stiffer up there. Price was right, Amazon
had free 2-day shipping (Prime), and it looks like it should work.
We'll see.
