I have 3x KD9SV Reversible-BOGs ranging from 175 feet to 300 feet long, they all receive much better than using my TX vertical. Make sure that you have good grounding at each end! I also have a partial YCCC "Hi-Z" array with 3 elements at 60 foot spacing that also RX better than the TX vertical.
