Herb, I don“t call CQ when I do qrp on 160m during a contest, just call stations running and concentrate on finding mults and DX for best scoring. This year I worked 30 VE/W, but assisted which helped a bit and it is amazing what good ears you have across the pond. Was easier to get W in the log then northern Africa and Middle East.
