Hi Bruce, I still remember when I got a SWL report from a guy VK3) in eastern Australia saying he heard me for several hours way before his sunset. He tried to call but in vain. I never heard him until I got his email. At the time I was CQing looking for KH6 so did not bother to switch RX direction. Never ever experiensied this b4 or after, the fact was: He was having a nice sunny afternoon and I was on the verge on SS. 73 Len SM7BIC

Was working Robin VK6LK on 80 meters (3786.3 KHZ) at 2219 to 22 25 HRS UTC. Had strong mixed aurora interference. Experienced 2 long delayed echoes (LDE), last few words of transmissions. The CME was a glancing blow to the earth. I am wondering if the LDE took place by circling the CME rather than by circling the earth. 73 Bruce-K1FZ www.qsl.net/k1fz/beveragenotes.html _________________ Topband Reflector Archives - http://www.contesting.com/_topband _________________ Topband Reflector Archives - http://www.contesting.com/_topband
