It almost sounds like the NCJ (National Contest Journal) has room to grow to the ICJ...
I doubt either QST or CQ would be able to devote much, if any, more space to contests. They both need to appeal to a large cross section of Radio Amateurs. I do agree that the TBDC could use a serious face lift. It's a unique contest for HF, one that probably gives you the best idea of how your station truly performs... 73, Julius Julius Fazekas N2WN Tennessee Contest Group http://k4tcg.org/ http://groups.google.com/group/tcg1?hl=en Tennessee QSO Party http://www.tnqp.org/ Elecraft K2 #4455 Elecraft K3/100 #366 Elecraft K3/100 #1875 --- On Fri, 2/11/11, DAVID CUTHBERT <[email protected]> wrote: From: DAVID CUTHBERT <[email protected]> Subject: Re: Topband: [Topband] DX window for the southern hemisphere To: "Ward Silver" <[email protected]> Cc: [email protected] Date: Friday, February 11, 2011, 10:25 AM A write up in CQ could be what's needed to foster more souther hemisphere interest. By the way, that's what's missing in the Stew Perry contest; a write up in a major magazine or at least a QST type formatted article online. The present crude online list of scores causes me to skip most Stew's.
