Hello, I', using tomcat 4.1.18 on a tiny server (laptop) for emergency remote access to some data. Usually the machine has not very much to do an can power down the hard disk. However, tomcat seems to access regularly the disk. I assume it checks tomcat-users.xml or webapps/<context>/WEB-INF/web.xml for changes. - Is it possible to switch this off without code changes? - If not, what are the classes I would have to change ?
