Hi,

1. Install tomcat
2. go to installation path
3. enter the server/lib directory
4. unzip the catalina.jar file
5. in the directory resulted, go to org\apache\catalina\util
6. ServerInfo.properties has what you're looking for.

Subject: How do I find out which version of tomcat is installed?

I have full access to the tomcat directory but I can't find the version number in any of the files. It's probably somewhere obvious but I just can't see it.

Please help...
