http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=35869 Summary: Can't run as a service on Windows Server 2003 64-Bit Edition Product: Tomcat 5 Version: 5.5.9 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows Server 2003 Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: Native:Integration AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Since Tomcat5.exe is a 32-bit application, it is unable to start a 64-bit jvm on Windows Server 2003 64-Bit Edition. However, startup.bat can start a 64-bit version of tomcat. There needs to be a 64-bit build of Tomcat5.exe and Tomcat5w.exe to allow tomcat to run as a service on Windows Server 2003 64-Bit Edition with a 64-bit jvm. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
