Hello, I'm having problems trying to get to the Apache CVS server.
I'm using XP Pro. I think my problem my problem is occurring because I am behind a corporate firewall. Can CVS work behind a firewall, through a proxy server? Can someone help me with what settings I need to use. I did create a "build.properties" file, and put the correct lines to use a proxy server. Why do I need to have access to the CVS server for building Tomcat? I downloaded the source file "jakarta-tomcat-5.5.9-src.zip". But it seems that I still need to be able to connect back up to the Apache server for building the source, why? Does the source file not contain all the sources, or is the reason to make sure I have the latest files? Any help provided will be very much appreciated.
