I have applied the port - thanks for the patch - but it doesn't fix the test
case originally described here.

The test case needs to be modified to return the canonical rather than binary
name of the inner class. type.getName() is not sufficient. See the
getCanonicalName() function in the attached patch for how this might be 
performed.

With this modification (I just replaced type.getName() with a hard coded
"test.FooTag.InnerBean") the test case works as expected.
