We should add LICENCE to the above list of files in /ver-info.

I will do packages for OpenBSD/i386 3.4 and FreeBSD 4.9. 
I'd like to use the ports/package conventions of these OS's instead 
of the above directory structure.  In general do we need one 
directory layout for all OS's?
