I have lost the motivation needed for doing the RM work on Tomcat 4.0 and 4.1, it's just painful after all this time. I'm writing this as I am about to tag and upload 4.1.30, BTW ;)
Since there's apparently a need for some to maintain 4.1.x further, there's a need for a new RM :) Any volunteers ?
