http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=25596 Application briefly unavailable when using manager to reload ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-01-10 18:10 ------- Remmy, I would greatly appreciate if you can let us know of the downsides of implementing the wait behaviour. You have been mentioning since the start of this bug that it is such a bad theory. Again I can't see why this would be a problem I understand that some apps would take a long time to start like cocoon for example but some other applications won't need that sort of thing. Just a few hundred or even a thousand classes that can be loaded in a less than 10 seconds on a good multiprocessor machine. And unless you rewrite the session managment to use JDBC managment, clustering this way will never work. that ofcourse in addition to the extra hardware that needs to maintain the healthness of the cluster and so forth. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
