http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=25901 Why the default character encoding is not a UTF-8? [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED Resolution|INVALID | ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-01-05 14:31 ------- To Remy: Sorry, I can't agree with you. This is a really problem of the Tomcat. Just try to send in some HTML form field a string with two different languages. Any browser will solve this problem by using a UTF-8 encoding, but Tomcat will not understand this. So the org.apache.coyote.Constants.DEFAULT_CHARACTER_ENCODING should be a "UTF- 8" instead of "ISO-8859-1" --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
