I think you should post on tomcat-user. This needs debugging, as the issue is
not reproduceable by itself.
I recommend trying a newer Tomcat release if you can, such as 5.0.16 (just to
make sure this wasn't caused by a bug which was fixed since - I don't think so,
but who knows). Similarly, you should upgrade to Sun 1.4.2 if you can (it's
faster), and verify (and post) your VM settings, in particular the memory
related ones.

Reopen the report if you can isolate the problem more.
