I made a web application on SunOne studio IDE. It is working fine in IDE. But when I move it to Tomcat 4.1, I get a filenotfoundexception (access is denied) error.
In the IDE, I am using the same Tomcat install. I am on Win2k adv. server. when I use the application without database connectivity, it does work. that means make all data entry from database a static string, and feed them into the file copy bean class. Main functions of the application: 1- get user data entry from the web 2- lunch a bean to get database info about the file name and path 3- lunch the next bean to copy the file from the source to the target 4- provide user with a jsp page to download the file I have posted this problem several different places and as of today I have not gotten any suggestion or hint back. Places such as all sun forums: jsp, servlet, java advance, jdbc,... Sun support team also working on it to see what is the problem. I would be great full if anyone has any suggestion or hint for this issue. I will send you all source code, error file, or anything else you need to come up with a hint or suggestion.
