After unpacking with gzip and untarring with "tar xf jakarta..." some filenames are cut of in the directory structure. (e.g. ValueForm.c instead of ValueForm.class) This prevents a successful start of the admin application. I'm not sure if this is a problem of the distribution itself, or of the tar on my system.
