Hi! I am new to server side programming and learning to use tomcat.
I have tomcat 4.1.18 that I want to use for deploying applications. I am trying to develop servlets on apache tomcat. I have written a simple HelloWorld.java file and compiled it successfully. I have put the .class file in c:\tomcat\tomcat-4-1-18\webapps\root\webinf\classes And I am trying to view the servlet as http://localhost:8080/examples/servlet/elloWorld But I am not able to view my servlet. Can someone please help me ; what I should do? I am new to this stuff and will be very helpful if someone can help me.
