There are many users that have installed Tomcat 4.1.12 under NT (including me) and everything works fine. I recommend you clean up your directory installation and try again. In order to see what contains the stack trace, you should starts Tomcat using a command line shell (dos in your case): ex: c:\program files\tomcat4.1.12\bin\catalina.bat run Your error will be displayed.
