Dear Tomcat developers, I would like to say that new release of tomcat (after 4.1.12) is very much needed. I am very hopeful that 4.1.17 will make it to release soon. I did some pretty intensive stress testing with 4.1.16 and it worked great. I also use lots of tomcat integrations - my own security Realm, several custom JNDI factories, Context listeners - all work well with 4.1.16 We also use Apache/Tomcat integration and we discovered that mod_jk/Ajp13Connector combination in tomcat 4.1.12 does not work very well under stress (we are getting a lot of connection failures) while mod_jk2/Coyote holds works well in the same tests (tomcat 4.1.16). Unfortunately 4.1.12 Coyote connector does not work well with Apache over SSL - so we need new release badly :-)
