http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=9931 Base64 decoder chokes on a whitespace [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |ASSIGNED ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-11-01 22:02 ------- Base64-decoder.patch does pre-processing on the value passed to the decode() function. Filtering whitespace the body of decode() would be both more memory and CPU-efficient, but I'm not comfortable enough with the the code to make that invasive of a change. I'm curious what the Tomcat folks are doing here these days. Unfortunately, in implementing this, I noticed that encode() isn't line wrapping at 76 characters -- should we log this as a problem? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:tomcat-dev-unsubscribe@;jakarta.apache.org> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:tomcat-dev-help@;jakarta.apache.org>
