It is a problem because every time someone does a PS goes _nuts_ about the number of JVM processes... While at the end they are just threads... I believe I replied to this question at least 200 times in the past 5 years, and _still_ I see people asking... And try to do a little piece of code creating 1000 threads on Linux and on Windows 2k... Just to see which one is faster (and I believe we _all_ agree that Windows sucks!) :-) Anyhow, the old battle on why Linux sucks is over...
