Unfortunately I don't have permissions to upgrade the operating system on this machine because of some stupid corporate policies :( What I did was to downgrade to the previous version running (JDK 1.3 and Tomcat 4.0.4) which solved the problem, but It would be nice (and useful) to able to use the latest Tomcat. Unfortunately I can't test various versions of Tomcat on this machine since it's a production server, and of course I never get this error on my development machines.
